This page describes the process we actually follow. We do not claim independent journalism, whole-of-market research, or FCA-authorised advice.

Who writes the guides

Guides are written by Compare Business Healthcover as general information for UK employers. They are not a personal recommendation. We are an introducer, not an insurer, and we are not FCA authorised.

What we will not publish

We do not invent premiums, typical UK averages, insurer rankings, review scores, awards or savings. We do not copy time-limited insurer promotions as if they were our offers. We do not invent expert reviewers or customer testimonials.

How insurer pages are sourced

Named-insurer pages summarise that insurer’s own UK website, with a last-reviewed month and a sources list. If the insurer’s quote or policy guide differs from our summary, the quote and guide win.

Tax, regulation and last-reviewed dates

Tax and regulation are described in outline only. Check HMRC, the FCA, the insurer wording and a qualified adviser. A last-reviewed date means we checked the page in that month. It is not a promise the market has not moved since.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, use the contact page. We will correct factual errors we can verify. We will not add a price, ranking or review we cannot stand behind.
