Who Aviva says this product is for
Aviva’s business health-insurance hub splits SME and larger-company products. Solutions is published as flexible private healthcare for 1 to 249 employees. Optimum is published as a bespoke option for 100 or more employees. Between 100 and 249 staff, Aviva therefore describes two possible ranges. A broker or Aviva will say which pathway applies to you.
How Aviva describes Solutions
Aviva’s Solutions page says you start with core cover and can add or remove options. Core cover on that page includes treatment of acute conditions, cancer cover, BacktoBetter (a third-party musculoskeletal case-management service, without a GP referral) and mental health treatment through a Mental Health Pathway that Aviva says does not need a GP referral. It also lists extras such as dental and optical, hospital-list upgrades, and ways to reduce cover such as a six-week option, an excess, limited outpatient cover or a reduced hospital list.
Aviva states that some wellbeing services sold alongside Solutions — including Digital GP on the pages we checked — are non-contractual and can be changed or withdrawn. Do not treat those extras as guaranteed insured benefits.
